EIC, as a leading designer and manufacturer of circuit protection devices, has now expanded its range of Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) starting from 150W and up to 50,000W. The 5R through-hole package is also now available as a new package outline addition for 15000W types (R15KPxx product series). The M1A package has also been introduced for the 1000W EPSxx product series.

With over 6000 different product types in 11 packages and following industry standard nomenclature, EIC is able to deliver all TVS within 4 weeks.

With trends towards higher integration, TVS devices are increasingly necessary for protection against overvoltage situations in higher and lower voltage environments. They are used in a wide variety of applications such as power supplies, lighting ballast, personal computers, telecom and aerospace where EIC supplies the Airbus A350, A400M and Boeing 787 commercial and military planes. EIC also offers a range of Automotive TVS designed specifically to suppress the combination of high voltage and high energy transients. A full range of Low and Ultra Low Capacitance TVS is also available specifically designed for protecting in High Speed Data transmission application and RF lines.

EIC's broad portfolio of TVS offers breakdown voltages from 6V to 480V. Most specifications in the range are fully available in both uni-directional and bi-directional versions.
